It is amazing how they keep so true to the Manga, every single scene is straight up how the manga goes!!
That is real dedication!

That's probably a big part of what makes this show so solid, unlike a lot of other adaptations that do a flimsy job of telling the story

This episode made a big man cry...

So this season was confirmed to be 13 episodes long. Huh, interesting. Probably because this arc is relatively short, and I heard that the next one is extra long, so they want a full season dedicated to that, like with season 3.

This gotta be one of the best episodes in Kingdom. So good. And respect to the VAs too, Toriumi Kousuke's (Wei Ping) performance was amazing. Made me super emotional multiple times.

wow that was a lot of waterworks., bawled my eyes out hard, 2 times. this series does to a man. let me tell you something, i have read the manga too, and even after that hearing it again made me bawl, which series does that?

The thing is when I read the manga, this part didn't make me cry one bit but animated, I cried a waterfall, the voice actors did an amazing job expressing the characters emotions especially shin's va.

Yeah they really did an excellent job. Makes me realize that when an anime is done right, it's supposed to be better than the manga. It's not like a book vs a movie, where the movie makes trade-offs converting all the text into a limited screenplay. The anime should have everything copied 1:1 from the manga, just animated with sfx/music and voice acting.

Naki comes to the rescue, and poor behie well he wasn't trying to plunder but got caught up in the flow. ok now hopefully next week is back to warring states.

to be fair wev had 10 episodes of non-stop action, we need episodes like this to solidify the emotional sides of the characters, they're evident in the struggles in the battlefield but this episode really showed how the unit is really rallied under one banner. one out of thirteen is pretty good

Huh?? 23 mins have passed already? I really love this part in the manga. It shows what kind of unit Shin has and what they'll become in the future. Those who doesn't appreciate this part because it has no action-pack scene proves how surface level they are.
